An earthly paradise in the Can Vidalet Park
Can Vidalet is one of the most emblematic historical gardens in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. In addition to the natural charm, it also offers the possibility of falling in love with all its ancient elements that hide in the different corners of the park. Visit it as many times as you wish, because this wonder is only 2 km from your new rental apartment in BeCorp · Sant Just – Modolell.
The palace, the lake, the pond, the old laundry … are just some of the attractions that turn this green space into an oasis of peace and rest. The palace is currently used as a language school and is a neoclassical building, built in the first decades of the 20th century. Did you know that under the building is a refuge from the civil war?
The lake is perhaps the most striking sector of the park. A small island serves as a pedestal to the temple, consisting of eight striated columns with Corinthian capitals that are the basis of a drum with reliefs inspired by plant motifs. An iron suspension bridge links the temple with the earth, creating a magical scene. The lake has a jetty and in its waters we can see “taxodis”, a plant species native to the swampy areas of North America.
Its vegetation is also a good reason to visit it. The native species predominate, with great presence of holm oaks and white pines, many of them centenarians. You will walk between palm trees and cypresses, you will be accompanied by bushes or flower beds of ivy and you can rest on grassy meadows.
So that your stay in one of the best parks of the Baix Llobregat is, if possible, even more rewarding, you have drinking fountains, playgrounds, exercise areas for the elderly, multipurpose courts, table tennis, bar and toilet .
The environment of your rental home invites you to enjoy your days more, to meet again with nature and to relax in a space of incomparable beauty. Surprise your family with a visit to the Can Vidalet Park, a few minutes from your new construction rental apartment in BeCorp · Sant Just – Modolell. Who knows, it may become one of your favorite places.
